Unfortunately, we found it difficult to explore the surrounding area without a car, as public transportation options were limited. Additionally, we were disappointed that dining options were scarce since many restaurants were closed during the off-season. It left us feeling somewhat isolated, as the only nearby establishment was a bar at the end of the road.

Y'all, the terrace views were like a postcard come to life! Sippin' on homemade Chianti while Paolo and Valeria treated us like family? Ain’t nothin’ like it. The breakfast spread had us droolin’—fresh pastries every mornin’. I reckon I could stay there forever, just takin' in all that charm. The only thing I wished for was a few more nearby dinner options.

We had an unbelievable home-cooked meal on the balcony with an amazing view of Tuscany. Breakfast was all homemade and absolutely exceptional. The hosts made us feel so welcome and the wood stove in our room was tended to regularly, keeping us cozy during our stay.

An old historical house that feels like a small museum with fascinating artifacts. The lounge is stunning for relaxing in style, enhancing the overall charm of the place.

It can be tricky to find the address, and parking is scarce, so be ready to haul your luggage up at least two flights of stairs. The heating in the main room comes from a stove that needs frequent tending, leaving a scent of burnt wood in the air, which might not be everyone's cup of tea.

I had a wonderful experience at Le Terrazze Del Chianti B&B. My room was a charming Superior Double Room with an authentic feel, and it offered beautiful views of the breathtaking Chianti landscape. The freshly prepared breakfast each morning was an absolute delight, especially the homemade yogurt and pastries.

I stayed in the Superior Double Room (La Soffitta) for 3 nights. The room was really charming and authentic, with a huge, comfy bed that felt luxurious. I loved the unique decor, giving it that rustic Tuscan vibe. The views from the room were stunning, especially from the terrace. My only wish was for a little more heating. it got a bit chilly at night. But overall, it was such a cozy spot to unwind after exploring the area.

Breakfast featured an incredible variety, including freshly baked bread and homemade pastries, a true delight to start the day. This place was a commendable fit for a flash visit in San Donato in Poggio with value for money. The cozy atmosphere felt like stepping into a small museum, which was a pleasant surprise. Check out the local tavern across the street for authentic food experience.

Group perfect base for Chianti exploration

Valeria and Paolo really made us feel right at home. They took time to show us around and even helped us set up wine tasting which was a big deal for us. The breakfast we had was incredible, fresh and homemade, I mean really, the pastries were something else!

It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but I’d say worth every penny.
